Shawnee Global Announces Emily Ruggs as STS President

Shawnee Global LLC, the federal contracting company of the Shawnee Tribe, has announced the addition to the team of Emily Ruggs, PMP who will serve as President of Shawnee Technical Services LLC. With over a decade of experience spanning private and tribally owned SBA 8(a) program participation, she brings a dynamic skillset, expertise, and leadership to the growing company.

Throughout her career, Ruggs has led transformative initiatives across multiple sectors of federal contracting, including information technology, construction, and professional support services. She has held key leadership roles with Cherokee Nation Businesses, Banning Contracting Services, and most recently as Executive Vice President of Kaiva Services, a tribally owned 8(a) and HUBZone small business. In these roles, she oversaw multimillion-dollar contract portfolios, driving operational excellence, strategic growth, and sustained performance. Her experience in high-growth, mission-driven environments has given her a deep understanding of how to scale organizations for success in complex, competitive federal markets.

The Shawnee Tribe and its corporations are headquartered in Miami, Oklahoma. In addition to the Shawnee Global companies, the tribe owns and operates Golden Mesa Casino in Guymon, Oklahoma.
